Vitalant is a nonprofit community blood center, providing blood and blood products for local area hospitals throughout the United States. Vitalant community blood centers across the country provide blood, blood components and special services for patients in more than 500 hospitals in 18 states, from California to the Gulf Coast, from Texas to the Canadian border. More than 25 million people in communities throughout these states depend on Vitalant’s generous volunteer blood donors.
